Atelier SAD was founded in 2002 by Adam Jirkal and Jerry Koza. The name originated with a touch of playful irony as an acronym for Seasonal Affective Disorder, yet their work is its exact opposite—bringing lightness, wit, and technological precision to architecture and product design.

The studio team is driven by a desire to discover new opportunities, create original works, and push the boundaries of traditional manufacturing techniques. Today, their signature style shapes dozens of award-winning buildings, interiors, and products. Among their most celebrated projects are the interior of the Žižkov Television Tower in Prague, the GAS filling station in Matúškovo, and the unique PORT X floating house.

For Master & Master, they designed the SAD table collection, translating their distinctive visual dynamics, structural courage, and architectural detail into everyday interior design.
